Who uses it
Control Room is a private tool run by one person for their own YouTube channels. Nobody else signs in to it.
What it accesses
With read-only permission (youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly), it reads the signed-in channel’s video details and analytics: views, watch time, subscribers, traffic sources and audience retention. It cannot upload, edit or delete anything.
Where the data goes
Data is stored only on the owner’s own computer and home server. It is not sold, shared, or used for advertising. No Google user data is sent to any third party.
How to remove access
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account’s security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions). The owner deletes the stored data by deleting the local database.
Google API Services
Control Room’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
